Tower Crane Rescue.
For tower crane workers who may need to rescue a casualty from tower cranes, or other tall structures e.g. cab, crane structure, ladder, walkway or a casualty suspended from a lanyard after a fall.
For people who work on tower cranes or tall structures to enable them to evacuate or rescue another person. Tower crane rescue evacuation training course will give candidates the skills in how use CRD SkyPack to rescue a casualty to the ground. Raising or lowering techniques can be employed using SkyPack to allow movement to a safe descent location. Includes anchor point selection, identification of safe descent paths, care of casualty and how to correctly handle a casualty who has been suspended in a harness and risks associated with harness suspension. Practical exercises also include the fitting of a full body harness, use of fall protection lanyards, casualty harness and stretcher fitting, use of extension pole.
